Anthro Animal

 Anthropologie has a number of 90's inspired animal print pieces right now, particularly dresses, that are just perfection, and feel very chic in a defiant sort of way.

This first mini reminds me of something Carrie Bradshaw would wear, with it's asymmetrical ruffles and flirty movement. I have nowhere to wear something like this, but I can't stop thinking about it! There's something really pleasing about the neutral color palette and retro silhouette, that feels both bold and effortless. 

Similarly, the tiger-striped dress below feels very referential to the 90's with the crinkle crepe fabric, while the high boat-neck and loose shift fit add the the retro aesthetic. The texture and draping on these pieces is really pleasing to me, and the rich color scheme is perfect for transitioning from winter into spring. 

To accent the looks, a few tonal accessories that caught my eye: strappy sandals and chic textured bags.
